I love growing beets. Unfortunately, the deer love them just as much and we rarely end up with any to eat.

In reply to Marie L. Marie, There could be a lot of reasons why your beets didn't grow roots, including lack of nutrients, moisture, and overcrowding. What are your growing conditions? Does the garden bed get enough sun?
