Jalen Hurts performs questionable rendition of Fly Eagles Fly following NFC Championship win

Jalen Hurts was a star once again for the Eagles Sunday night against the San Francisco 49ers. The Eagles are back in the Super Bowl for the first time since 2017-18 with a 31-7 win over the 49ers in the NFC Championship game.

Hurts completed 15 of his 25 passes for 121 yards and added 39 rushing yards with 1 touchdown to secure the win. Postgame, the former Alabama quarterback performed a questionable rendition of Fly Eagles Fly upon receiving the NFC Championship trophy.

Don’t quit your day job, Jalen.

The Eagles have easily been the best team in the NFC this year, thanks in part to the elevated play from Hurts and a violent defense. Philly lost just 3 times this season, earning a 1-seed in the playoffs and will now have a chance to win the whole thing against either Kansas City of Cincinnati. Their game kicked off at 6:30 p.m. EST.

The Super Bowl is set for Sunday, Feb. 12 at 6:30 p.m.

  • Back in the Super Bowl "for the first time since 2018". Meanwhile back in Dallas where they haven't been to a Super Bowl since the 1995 season. Holly cow. There were guys in there 20's who are now middle aged since it happened. Got their AARP letter with the offer of a free tote bag.

  • Jalen needed a little "auto tone" with that rendition! Happy for him...but dude, that was rough!!! : )

    • Terry Bradshaw started the song and handed the mic to Jalen after the song started. Jalen probably wanted no part of leading the song but was a good sport and did his best. At that point I doubt if anyone in the stadium cared that his rendition wasn't all that good.
