Unproven hs player, not unproven hs coach... darn auto correct.
I am curious if you really are thatbstupid to think UF or ANY school would pay a unproven high school coach 13 million. Most coaches at large schools make 3-4 million per year, do you think they are going to pay an unproven player MORE than a coach? Even considering Napier atb7 million or so, Saban and Smart at 9-10 million a year, do you think an unproven qb is worth 30-50% of a hbc salary? Come on man, at least make your trolling intelligent.
Keep in mind, the Gators didn't religion on a deal, the collective that made the deal did. The university had nothing to do with it. And as Doering said, I am glad I itnfell apart. This NIL stuff is ridiculousness current form... pay players millions once they are on campus and school is making money off their performance. Paying HS kids as a recruiting tool is utterly ridiculous and will destroy interest in thensport.
He probably writes the stories under different pen names just like he posts responses under multiple names. Always first for a reason...
Are you really that much of a moron. He kicked the field go expressly to have some.success, which means putting points on the board. Did you really think the better option would be to go for it on 4th and goal from the 28 when our QB can't make a five yard pass? But yeah, a Dawg would love for our no shut out record to go down of course regardless of common sense.
Well at least we know you don't have any clue about college football and recruiting. Go be a FSU fanboy.
And of course Alabama knocking off Ole Miss today...
Whatever... so you guys got lucky and backed into the SECCG only because Alabama choked twice... Georgia will just steamroll LSU. SEC East is back on top.
Jimbo is like Will Muschamp, great recruiter but a meddling Head Coach who is nothing special. Gets in the way of the Coordinators. Jimbo got lucky at FSU when Jameis Winston showed up and coincidentally bailed on FSU when Winston left so he could get the golden parachute. This is as good as it gets with Jimbo unless one of the high rated QBs goes off the charts (with no help from Jimbo)
Florida's fascination with dual threat QBs who are work in progress passers has to end. Our last good team was Trask led and he was barely mobile. If we don't have an OC that knows how to use a dual threat qb, we should stop trying. I rather stay with a drop back passer vs a dual threat qb we won't let run due to injuries history. What's the point. Bring on Kitna and see what happens at this point. Let Richardson go to a team built for dual threat qbs and let him run.
Georgia will, or should, crush us this year. As uou said BC, for us it is all about working out issues, identifying players for the future, and showing continued buy in from the players. LSU last game was pounding us with 3rd and whatever success... yet our team never gave up. That is character building and our team definitely needs that. Last year when Mullen was flailing and giving up, the team collapsed due to lack of character and playing for each other. So let's hope for an injury free game where we get what we need to get our rivalry back on track because let's be jonest, when one of our teams is down it makes for a very boring rivalry! And let's hope you guys get what you need to make one helluva game vs Tennessee! And good to see the SEC East gaining back respect, one team or another, as it should be.
If any9ne has Richardson in their top 50 QBs theybare not watching games... Love the kid, great person on and off the field. But he needs so much refinement before he can even sniff the draft. He is being outplayed by all the qbs we have faced, regardless how much lower rated they are. Sure, he has tremendous upside with his skillset, but right now it is hard to trust he will complete a dump off pass let alone a clutch pass in the end zone. He really needs two more years... and CBN better be open to replacing him if Kitna or some other QB pushes him. All the skillet points in the world are meaningless if you continue to make mistakes over and over... Ala Frank's, Emory Jones, etc..
Wow, Georgia finally gets a good season and wins a NC once in the last 30+ years and now it's the Kirby league? Seems Georgia, over last 30 years, has been a bottom dweller compared to Florida and LSU in that time. Enjoy your fleeting moment in the spotlight... it won't last and you will return to the middling state of being you have been used to most of your adult life.
At least it is only two weeks or so... This season is basicallybabthrow away for LSU and Florida as both staffs get acclimated to new homes.
Should he reference the Missouri game that hasn't been played yet? Come on man.
If fans an media wouldn't hype players as Heisman candidates and first round draft picks before the kids starts his second game, maybe expectations could be set accordingly. Richardson has talent, he is a smart kid with high football IQ and surely will make strides. What shouldn't be happening is overhyped a kid... no matter how humble Richardson is, he hears the hype. He is a sophmore... let him make his sophomore mistakes and grow. No one should be expecting our Gators to bounce back in year one of Napier. We learn and grow this year to have a more solid foundation next year.
That sucks, feel bad for any kid who is injured and will miss an entire season. Sorry to see this.
Sure an interception saved the game, maybe. Most likely they would have kicked a FG to go to OT. Who knows... but Richardson would be pretty much any Head Coach's pick to run an OT. Let's not forget a the fumble on our first possession, by a sophomore rb playing his first SEC game, which gave Utah 7 pts. Can't bring up the "what if" interception without the fumble forn7 pts. No fumble, Utah might have dug a whole for themselves... We will see Saturday though. I just want to see a great game.
Umm... Utah was seen nationwide as a legitimate contender for playoff contender. Slow teams don't get that title. Are you seriously saying Kentucky is much faster than Utah? You guys are good, no question, but pump the brakes a bit on the kool-aid drinking. And I guess you missed all of the perfectly thrown darts from Richardson. That's funny.
It is very refreshing to see UK fans support a punishment for DUI. We Gators have been, generally, good with sticking to punishments (minus a certain Oscar Meyer stint) so I like seeing this. Hope it's a hard fought game next week. Great to see Kentucky be a legitimate contender and one of the big three in the East. We all know Tennessee is a paper tiger regardless of media attention. ;)
this is a lose-lose game for Utah. If they win, it is against a rebuilding Florida team with new, staff, thin roster, etc. If they lose, it is against a rebuilding Florida team with new, staff, thin roster, etc. A win is a win... and against a decent SEC it still means something... but the asterisk will matter.
Who cares if it is opening or ending a season.. We end every year with FSU, which is a much better team on average than middling at best Georgia Tech. Every year...
Funny, the South Carina portion of this site hasn't bothered to post an article about losing the commit all day. Guess they aren't as crazy about recruiting?
