correlation vs causation Doug. Georgia has superior athletes over every team they played. Your argument is about running 2 TEs. Teams that don't have Georgia's luxury which is everyone, cannot guarantee the same success. Also if Georgia continues to dominate the TE market will other teams that switch to that system find success? I highly doubt it.
We fired that guy, what is UGA gonna do about Kirby? We also would like to know who gave them the rented car.
Has kirby said anything about the recruiting staff taking players to strip clubs yet?
Heupel is very genuine individual where Mullen definitely doesn't give off that vibe. Heupel did more with less than Mullen, also lets not forget about Mullen's lack of recruiting and Heupel seems to be gaining ground every cycle on the current heavy hitters. Heupel and Mullen isn't a good comparison.
He just had a teammate die and along with someone else he probably a good bit of interactions with. Why is he currently worried about addressing what someone said on the internet or radio? He is still pretty far removed from having professional mentality when addressing the media. Stet your 25 years old you should be beyond that by now. Refocus the attention on the lives lost over the weekend and not on proving yourself right.
Tennessee will be top 10 next year if they play like they did in the bowl game. There will be a lot of roster upgrades next next season.
The statement reads as if we told him to look elsewhere. Don't read too much into decommits, there might be a new Receiver UT has taken a commit from that hasn't been disclosed yet.
All the guy has to do is wait on the side lines another two years and he can be South Carolina's next coach. SC put together a great final 2 games but that could be Beamer's peak based on players hitting the portal.
Based on the playoff's own grading critieria is still don't understand our Bama is in front of Tennessee *Championships won *Strength of schedule *Head‐to‐head competition (if it occurred) *Comparative outcomes of common opponents (without incenting margin of victory)
The story of a conflict is true details of it aren’t completely known. Everyone is turning this into a bad thing I see it as a positive. Banks has been sour about multiple things he got of line and strong leadership put him in his place.
Tennessee was pretty easy scout defensively. Secondary has been weak all year. There were multiple QBs that had their game of the year against TN. Vols offense usually evened it out, however they didn't have it like like they did against everyone not named Georgia. I hope SC plays like that against Clemson.
You obviously don't know that history there. He's not going back there, once they are in the SEC it will be a lateral move.
Tennessee is going to have its growing pains. This loss sucks but Tennessee isn't ready yet. You can't have a secondary like this one and make it to the playoff. Its still been a good year. Unfortunately we might be limping into a good bowl game.
Ok I'll bite who is the next guy up to join the 48th ranked class in the country for 2023?
Ohio st. doesn't have the strength of schedule either, and they wouldn't be a conference champion. TN's loss is to the current number 1 team. No other non conference champ can say that.
40-13 loss isn't a bad loss? How about a loss to FSU that is ranked 15 spot below LSU not a bad loss?
Mentioned it before LSU's 2 bad losses at home should keep them out of the playoff. Playoff is the culmination of the entire season not just beating one team on the last play of the game. If TN doesn't beat Bama LSU isn't in the title game, people aren't really talking about the dominos that had to fall before they could make to the title game.
I don't think LSU would jump past Tennessee with a Georgia win. They have 2 bad losses at home for me that just seems too much to over come.
I don't think it will happen but the possibility is there. Both Michigan and Ohio St only have 1 win over a top 25 team both beat Penn st. Neither has the resume Tennessee has. Who has 2 wins over top 10 teams, and the strength of schedule isn't even in the ball park. They might try but I don't think they can feasibly do it. Now if LSU beats Georgia all bets are off. Which I think Georgia should fall out of the top 4 because their loss is worse than Tennessee's
Michigan's out of conference games were Uconn, Hawaii, and Colorado state. An absolute joke.
If you think Tennessee fans are nuts now, wait until the committee tries to keep either Ohio St or Michigan in the top 4 after a loss.
It was actually a 69 yard bomb thrown flat footed. Its something the player and the coaching staff should be proud of.
Tennessee had over 500 yards and 7 touchdowns in 3 quarters. I don't think UM scoring 3 TDs one of which was fluke TD when the secondary over played a under thrown ball will register with the committee.
Good Defense front with a great secondary paired with a pretty good offense. Tennessee's defensive strategy killed them last week. They elected to shut down the tight ends (which they did) instead of focusing on what they had been doing all year limiting the big play on the outside and keeping everything in front of them. The correct way to play Georgia's offense is to let the tight ends get catch and run stuff but lock down the outside. If Tennessee does get a rematch I would expect a different defensive game plan.
Daytona: Georgia hasn't yet had sustained Nattys and then replaced coaches to stay on top is my point not saying Kirby won't get there. I am sure Saban replaced coaches prior to winning championships at Bama. Georgia has replaced coaches in route to the top, but can they continue it like Bama has ? Only time will tell. Clemson tried and couldn't sustain it. Georgia looks to be the next to try. They aren't Bama for at least 2 more championships not even in the ball park as of right now.
this is the second time i've seen SDS miss fire articles. this one is 3 weeks early
