People missing the point. Jimbo couldn't hire Garret Riley nor the Washington's OC so he had to resort to his last top choice Petrino. Jimbo couldn't hire the young OCs even with $3 mil. People in the CFB world know how stubborn and arrogant Jimbo is and does not trust his ego will give his hire a full control of the offense. That's the state of our program right now. But what's even sadder is that this is still an upgrade from Jimbo calling plays. He can now focus on when to properly call his time outs during the games instead of shuffling around his cheesecake factory menu playbook.

Clearly you do not follow recruiting. Position coaches do the main recruiting. Of course OC and DC are involved at some level but they're not the main guys recruiting players. A&M's former DC Mike Elko was not the main recruiter for the bunch of 5* DL we recruited in '22. It was ERob the position coach.

Hope Addazio is fired. He surely hampered our OL last year. One of the worst I've seen in years.

I think injuries on DL certainly did play a role in using 3 man front. Not the only reason. But we really did have a lot of guys injured. Mainly the interior guys.

Well Max got sacked 6 times in his game vs A&M last year and still managed to beat us.

Sadly McKinley will not be playing on Saturday. We also will be without Tunmise and Andre White. Our running defense will still be a problem. Hopefully Nolen and Dindy will give us some help with that but it's a problem when we're relying on true freshmen.
