DeVonta Smith explains why he and Jalen Hurts credit Alabama ahead of the Super Bowl

DeVonta Smith and Jalen Hurts have a common theme that has been noticed by media in Philadelphia.

As the former Alabama stars head to the Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs, Smith took a business-like approach for the Eagles.

“I mean, it’s amazing, from OTAs, to camp, to now,” Smith said. “Everybody came in every day doing the things they’re supposed to do. But ultimately the job is not done.”

Smith was asked about Hurts’ reaction, and whether the quarterback had fun after the NFC Championship win.

“It’s always fun winning,” Smith said. “Winning is always fun.”

Smith then referred to the mentality that the former Alabama stars lean on, and how there’s still work to do amid the the celebration. Where does it come from?

“Bama,” Smith said with a smile.

“It’s amazing. But the job is not done”
