Kentucky will open the 2028 season on the road at Toledo. Week 2 will see Kent State visit Lexington. The Wildcats will also play Eastern Illinois and rival Louisville during their 2028 nonconference slate.
Can Kentucky go 4-0 with that nonconference schedule? We’ll see where the Wildcats are at as a program in a few years!
I have seen this movie before…
Kentucky better watch out LMAO
You know…I don’t see ANY Power 5 program scrambling to schedule Tulane anymore.
Wonder why?
Nothing wrong with scheduling G5 teams, to me. Some of them have good talent, especially with the transfer portal.
Probably a tougher game than Louisville, honestly.
LMAO Louisville will always be garbage.
Look I know people bash Kentucky’s OOC scheduling… But last year we played 5 AP top 25 teams and UofL was ranked 25th in the playoff rankings, so 6 ranked opponents in one pole or another. That’s enough for Kentucky…
One thing we know about KY they won’t play a team from big conference like big12, ACC, etc. just the same ole Mac. That’s just another reason why no one respects KY. KY right now is just not that good. They still don’t have a RB one from Vandy who transferred in is decent but he will not be a difference maker. KY needs another RB and definitely depth on their poor O-line
Stoops will never schedule the likes of Oregon & UCLA like other SEC power schools have in recent years.
