Veteran Georgia wideout reportedly enters transfer portal
Georgia football had a player enter the transfer portal on Monday. The Bulldogs lost an experienced wideout.
Dominick Blaylock played in 29 total games for the Bulldogs during his time there. He also caught 35 passes for 548 yards receiving and 6 touchdowns in his Georgia career. Blaylock entered the portal after spending multiple years with the program.
Blaylock did not miss a game for Kirby Smart in 2022. Blaylock finished seventh on the team in receiving yards this season.

Blaylock was a former 4-star recruit from the 2019 recruiting class per the 247Sports Composite. The Marietta, Georgia native stayed home to play for the Bulldogs. He was also rated as the No. 5 WR and No. 8 prospect out of Georgia in his class.
Georgia became one of the few schools in college football history to go back-to-back as national champions after beating TCU 63-7 in the final game of the season.
Saturday Down South will keep you posted on any more Georgia updates regarding the transfer portal.
I hate to hear this, Dom is one of my favorite Dawgs, two rebuilt knees later just couldn’t exhibit the separation shiftiness needed to excel at UGa. I hope Kirby bringing in several TPs didn’t force this decision but I am sure it did. I hope he finds the right system that enables him to absolutely crush it. Best of luck Dom, hate, hate, hate to see you go! dgd
If it weren’t for those knee surgeries we’d probably still be saying goodbye to him right now, he’d just be heading to the draft instead. He came up clutch in big spots this year and someone is going to get one of the best players out there. Hate this for a guy who loved UGA and gave everything to the program from day 1
DEFINITION OF HEAD SCRATCHER??????
Everyone loves Dom and this makes no sense. I can’t remember where he’s from. I could see him maybe going somewhere to play close to home! He’s a former 5 star. Maybe he’s testing NIL????
PS. He worked so hard to get back. NIL or closer to home is all that makes sense!!! Dom is a DGD regardless in my book. Wish we could keep him!!!!

NOW THIS IS A MYSTERY????
I didn’t remember he was a local boy! So sorry but this has TAMPERING written all over it!!!!! First off Dom was a 5 star that had his 5th star pulled by 247 right after he played in an all star game!!!! In limited time he scored 2 touchdowns and was one of the stars of the game!!!!!!!
HE LOST HIS 5TH STAR VERY LATE….
It happens a lot with Georgia bulldog RECRUITS!!!!! DOM STAY WITH GEORGIA DUDE!!!!! FINISH YOUR CAREER THE RIGHT WAY!!!! Someone needs to put together an NIL package to keep this kid if we can!!!!!!!!
PS. Because he’s clutch and he’s a leader!!!!

Awwww, poor wittle negan! I’m sure you’ll take out your frustration on the kids won’t you?
I rarely read your posts, and this relatively brief one that I DID bother with reminds me why. Dom has one year of eligibility left to try and get to the NFL, and he’d be in an absolutely loaded WR room next year – not counting that one-for-the-ages TE room. He simply will not get the targets. He gave 5 years to UGA and never complained. This last year needs to be for him. “Tampering” – jeez, Louise . . .
And for a guy that’s always blathering about all things Georgia, it’s kinda pathetic that you don’t recall he played his HS ball at Walton High in East Cobb.
Back to not reading your posts.

100%^^^^^^^
Great team member and team leader who will be missed in the locker room.
Much like Keith Marshall, a phenomenal talent robbed and cheated by double knee injuries.
*Score was 65-7 not 63-7. Not that it matters…but it does. Go Dawgs!!
Although I hate it, I wish him well.
Disappointing to hear, but I wish him the best where he lands.
Injuries sidelined what could have been a stellar career. Still love the guy for his tenacity and work ethic to get back. Good luck and ball out at your next destination.
Sad to see him go but it makes sense. Injuries hurt his stats and UGA’s offense spreads the ball around a lot. Probably better off trying to go somewhere he can be a key player to bump his draft stock.
I believe he has two more years of eligibility left (I’m assuming), but it makes sense for him to leave. 4 years at UGA, I’m going to assume he has gotten, or will be getting his degree.
If he has anything left in the tank he should go somewhere where he’ll get the playing time. With what he went through you can’t get back to where you were if you don’t get the looks, and his looks were going to be limited with the two incoming receivers, the tight ends, and the returning receivers (assuming AD and Arian return)
I wish him success wherever he goes. Here’s hoping he stays healthy, racks up some big numbers, and gets drafted early next year.
