Damieon George Jr., former Alabama OL, announces SEC East commitment
Damieon George Jr., a former 3-star offensive lineman from Houston who committed to Alabama as part of the Crimson Tide’s 2019 recruiting class, entered the NCAA transfer portal back in November.
Now the former Crimson Tide lineman is switching divisions in the SEC, going from the West to the East.
As you can see below, George took to Twitter on Monday afternoon to reveal he was committing to the Florida Gators and coach Billy Napier:

George will have 2 years of eligibility remaining for the Gators. George appeared in 2 games for the Tide in 2022, playing against Utah State and Texas. In 2021, he played in 12 games and made 3 starts late in the year.
Will he earn a starting job at Florida? The Gators will have some spots open he can compete for in 2023.
Big body. And we need big bodies.
Just getting the depth is key.
We needed big bodies and Billy delivered. Can’t wait to hear all the negatives about this guy. Did he spit on his Grandma, pillage the local Dollar General, run over a squirrel in the road (on purpose)? Come on “ugagatorlivingonalakebutdyingtodisowngatorsdawglover” where’s the negative post?
LakelifefudgemyownundiesIhatenapier will say the following: “He’s only a 3-star. If I was coach, every 5-star that was ever born would want to play for me since I’m so smart, s-m-r-t, SMRT!
The jealousy of UGA in all of you little gayturds is sooooo refreshing…..back to back, TURDS!!!
Colts, okay.
Colts, in your overly emotional hatred you’re apparently unaware that the majority of us are pulling for you guys to make it a three-peat.
colts church…your lameness shows no bounds.
Lol tailwhip! I was thinking he was a Georgia fan as well, although after seeing his uncalled for comments on the deaths of the Georgia player and recruiter, I’m thinking he must be from another fan base.
CBN is doing the right thing in the portal. Our best players on offense is Etienne and Johnson. We need as many road graters up front as possible. Unless we pull a quarterback out of the portal that is accurate or Miller turns the curve we are a run dominant offense.
How ironic that “ColtsCoach” jumps over the fence to be on a Gator article to discuss a jealousy problem, really?
Cool picture!
“The Gators will have some spots open he can compete for in 2023.” Imagine that…
Great pickup. This guy can slide in Ethan White’s spot with Ritchie next to him. The left side is set with Maccuzza and Barber.
This will give time for big Karim Waites to wait (see what I did) his turn while he gains experience. We may even go get another reserve player in the portal yet and we have some good ones coming in this class for depth. Napier was rebuilt the O line masterfully
I’m 100% with you, palley…welcome back and glad to see you huffing and drinking again, doom n gloom palley was a real debi-downer
SO….DGjr for Heisman sign on hot standby? P.S. from what I saw in Waites, not enough experience in the world gonna help that slow footed sloth, he makes my boi Dez look like (beep beep).
Thanks man, nice to be back. That negative angle was starting to give me pain in the membrane if you know what I’m sayin’
You know you have too many Heisman signs, slow your roll there.
Kam needs some time, be patient
“be patient”
Well glad that mystery is solved!!!
It’s nice to see CBN and staff filling out the needed spots, something that didn’t happen as much with the previous staff.
Somebody do a welfare check on GaLake…he is not 5 star.
Over/under on how many chairs he has thrown over the news?
I go 3.
I have it on good authority that he’s sitting in a bus station right now, soiling himself.
