Sedrick Van Pran, Georgia starting lineman, confirms plans for 2023
Sedrick Van Pran delivered some welcome news for Georgia fans on Friday. The starting center is returning to Athens for another season with the Bulldogs.
Van Pran made his 2023 return official on social media. Having completed 3 seasons at UGA, Van Pran was eligible to declare for the 2023 NFL Draft.

Van Pran made his Georgia debut in 2020 off the bench against Auburn. He also saw action that season against 3 other SEC opponents (Tennessee, South Carolina, Missouri).
For the past 2 seasons, Van Pran has started every game for the Bulldogs at center. The 6-4, 310-pound New Orleans native out of Warren Easton High School will anchor the starting offensive line for the back-to-back national champions.
That’s a big deal, in the positive direction.
May cause another O-lineman to hit the portal but having Van Pran another season helps.
This is HUGE with a fresh QB under center next season. SVP is one of the best at directing blocking schemes at the line. So glad to have him back for a final year!
You got that right Mountain Dog! Believe Van Pran coming back was the biggest piece of Dawgs have a championship caliber offense.
That is great news!
Van Pran was also one of our permenant captains last year. Having that kind of leadership back is huge.
Every time I shared something of Faith on here, it would say “pending moderation”.
Well, Van Pran’s tweet isn’t in “pending moderation”!
G _ D IS GREAT!! He is the the Great I Am and ALMIGHTY!
Thank you!
Don’t write jooish either….lol
