Kelee Ringo is going pro. After winning 2 national championships at Georgia, Ringo has formally declared for the 2023 NFL Draft. He shared the big news on social media.

After missing 2020, his freshman year, due to offseason surgery, Ringo played in all 30 games for the Bulldogs the past 2 championship seasons. In 2021, Ringo recorded 34 total stops, 8 pass breakups (second-best on team), and 2 interceptions over 15 games, starting the last 12. As a redshirt freshman, he recorded 7 tackles, a career-high, in the win over Kentucky. Ringo was recognized on the Coaches’ Freshman All-SEC Team for his strong 2021 season.

This season, Ringo was recognized as an Associated Press and Coaches’ All-SEC Second Team selection. Ringo matched his career-high of 7 tackles in the win over Tennessee. He had a career-high 3 pass breakups in Georgia’s win over in-state rival Georgia Tech to cap the 2022 regular season. He recorded 42 total tackles, including 37 solo and 2 for loss, in his second season of action to go with 9 passes defended (2 interceptions) and a forced fumble.

Ringo departs Athens having recorded 76 tackles (63 solo), 3 TFL, 4 interceptions and 19 passes defended. Bulldog TE Darnell Washington has also declared for the 2023 NFL Draft.
