Florida sees starting lineman announce plans to enter the transfer portal
Florida is down another player to the transfer portal as of Saturday, as Florida left guard Ethan White announced his plans to depart for a change of scenery on the holiday weekend.
“I want to thank Coach Mullen and Coach Hevesy for giving me the opportunity to represent my home state and The University of Florida for 4 years, as well as Coach Napier and his staff for continuing my development over the past year,” White wrote. “I will be entering the transfer portal.”
White was a standout for Florida and will be a notable gain for his next destination, not allowing a single sack across his 13 appearances.
He also earned AP All-SEC Second-Team recognition and an “above average” run-blocking grade of 67.4 (out of 100) from PFF. It will be interesting to see where he lands next.
