Kentucky is set to face a bit of a familiar opponent in Saturday’s Music City Bowl at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.

The Wildcats and Hawkeyes played each other in the 2022 Citrus Bowl, as the Wildcats finished off one of their most successful seasons in some time with a 20-17 win. Mark Stoops, of course, knows Iowa well as he and brothers Bob and Mike were all defensive backs with the Hawkeyes before diving into their respective coaching careers.

And Kentucky will be breaking out an all-blue look in Nashville against Iowa, as you can see below:

At 7-5 (3-5 SEC), the Wildcats haven’t seen quite the success in 2022 that they enjoyed in 2021, going 3-5 after a 4-0 start. That said, they’ll be looking to end the season in the win column and pick up a bowl victory against the Hawkeyes for a 2nd straight year. Meanwhile, Iowa sports an identical 7-5 record, but Kirk Ferentz’s team won 4 of its last 5 after a 3-4 start to the season.

Kickoff from Nashville is set for noon ET on ESPN.
