Keidron Smith and Kentucky suffered a rough loss in the Music City Bowl on Saturday, falling to Iowa 21-0 to see their season end at 7-6. Smith recorded 3 tackles in the contest.

A few hours after the game, Smith took to Twitter to reveal his plans for 2023. As you can see below, he will declare for the NFL Draft:

Smith originally signed with Ole Miss as a member of the class of 2018. In 2020, he was the team’s 2nd-leading tackler with 64 stops.

Following the 2021 season, he entered the transfer portal and opted to commit to Kentucky. Again, he played in every game, finishing the season with 46 tackles. He also forced a fumble and made 2 interceptions, including a pick-6.

For his career, Smith recorded 269 tackles and 7 interceptions in 5 seasons and 60 games, never missing a contest.
