Tavion Gadson, who committed to Florida State in August, switched gears on Early Signing Day, and decided to commit to an SEC program.

Gadson, who is 6-foot-4 and 280 pounds from Savannah, Georgia (Jenkins) committed to Kentucky, On3 Sports reported, after he was recruited by defensive backs coach Chris Collins, who led Gadson’s recruitment for the Wildcats. He is rated as the No. 68 defensive lineman in the 2023 class, as well as the No. 58 player coming out of the Peach State, per 247Sports Composite. He also considered Minnesota and Auburn, along with Tennessee.

Gadson visited Kentucky last weekend, and was a grayshirt candidate for FSU, 247Sports reported.

“The coaches just made it right,” Gadson said, per 247Sports. “I love the facility and the energy I saw at practice. That was great, something I look forward too.”
