Khamari Anderson, TE out of Detroit, announces SEC commitment
Khamari Anderson, a 3-star tight end recruit out of Detroit, Michigan (Cass Technical) has announced a commitment to play in the SEC.
Anderson announced a commitment to Kentucky on social media, and added, “Big Blue Nation, let’s work!! Enough said.” Anderson is listed at 6-foot-4 and 225 pounds, and is rated the No. 9 player in the state of Michigan, and the No. 24 tight end in the country in the Class of 2023, according to the 247Sports Composite.
Anderson decommitted from Cincinnati following the coaching change when Luke Fickell left for Wisconsin.
He played tight end and defensive end in high school, but is expected to play tight end in college.
He was recruited to Kentucky by Vince Marrow, and has a reported 24 offers.
