Makhel Mitchell, Arkansas C, throws down violent slam poster against No. 4 Alabama
No. 15 Arkansas and No. 4 Alabama are facing off in Fayetteville tonight in what is the game of the night in college basketball.
It’s early, but the Razorbacks’ Makhel Mitchell made a statement in the opening minutes with a vicious dunk over the Crimson Tide’s Noah Clowney.

Adding insult to injury, Mitchell was also fouled on the play and he converted the free throw to give his team the early lead.
However, in spite of the big dunk, which whipped the home crowd into a frenzy, Alabama has rallied to take an 11-7 lead with just over 14 minutes remaining in the 1st half.
The Razorbacks, meanwhile, are hoping to hand the Crimson Tide their 1st SEC loss of the season.
I’d say Bama made the statement winning by 15 in Arkansas.
Hard to say. Arky missing two of their best starters, one for the season, the other probably as well. But still a big win.
Slip sliding away. The good news is it’s less likely that Kentucky will come calling when Calipari leaves. That’s something we can’t say about Oats. Hogs missing a couple but only one was around to contribute much while the other has missed most of the season. Lot of talent up there to be losing by double digits.
