Johnson, is a former 4-star prospect out of Lancaster, Texas. He was part of Baylor’s 2020 recruiting class. He is listed at 6-foot, 193 pounts.
As a redshirt sophomore, Johnson played in 12 games for the Bears with 16 tackles and a 1.5 tackles for loss. He led Baylor with five passes defended and also forced a fumble.
Johnson is the sixth player to join Arkansas through the transfer portal this offseason.
Great get Hogs.
I have no idea if this guy is any good or if he will help our horrible secondary. What I do know is that he was once committed to LSU before he switched to Baylor. LSU doesn’t recruit bums at DB. This is a huge position of need. Fingers crossed.
One thing you should be sure of, Arkansas ended up 131st out of 131 FBS schools in pass defense. How can it be any worse. It’s GOT to be better than what you had.
Snaxx, Nudie and Quin gonna be a legit problem for folks. Wait till we announce our newest Safety from the portal :)
Wishful thinking buddy!
