Aaron Murray says Monday's game against TCU is the 'start of the Georgia dynasty'
The winds of change have continued to blow across college football, and one of the biggest questions as the season has come to a close is just which team projects to hold the next dynasty.
That’s been the Alabama Crimson Tide for a long time, but doesn’t seem to be the case as much anymore after the team fell in national championship action against Georgia last year and failed to make it into the College Football Playoff mix in 2022 after losing 2 games in the regular season.
Former Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray sees Monday’s contest between Georgia and TCU as the start of the Bulldogs’ dynasty as they look to go back to back.
“There’s a lot going right,” Murray said. “They’ve just been a sleeping giant, just waiting to get a guy like (head coach) Kirby (Smart) to put them over the top to win a national championship. So, yeah, I think to me, we’re at the early stages of this dynasty.”
"Tonight, is just the start of the Georgia dynasty."

Georgia and TCU are set to kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET in SoFi Stadium on Monday.
In a post NIL world, GA’s going to have a tough time establishing a dynasty. It’s going to be tough for anyone to do it again now..
Agreed…dynasties in a 12 team playoff are highly unlikely as well…
What defines a “dynasty” will differently change with the new play-off set-up.
Why I think UGA can distinguish themselves even further under the upcoming 12-team playoff set-up – DEPTH.
Additionally – offensive schemes, paradigms, gimmicks etc come and go but year-end and year-out defense wins championships. Currently no other coach in college football is emphasizing and delivering defensive excellence to the degree and as consistently as Kirby is.
What dynasty? Lmao.
The greatest 10-2 team in the history of college football, right there folks!
Stupid Hillbilly. Hahaha.
Again I will ask.
What dynasty?
You Georgia fans are delusional lmao.
You want an answer you stupid Hillbilly who has absolutely nothing of substance to root for?
You win 2 in a row, you’re a Dynasty. That’s been the reality in football for a century. Going to 3 title games in 6 years cements it.
Winning 2 nattys doesn’t make you a dynasty lmao. Winning 3 puts you in dynasty status though.
So come back to me the next time you win a 3rd natty lmao.
Not in the next 5 years.
Weren’t you one of the idiots on January 11, 2022 talking about how it would take 41 years before the Dawgs won again?
Suck it, chump!
Corch Nope. Wrong person.
Corch No. Wrong person.
Not gonna respond?
Of course you aren’t.

Imagine being this salty. Imagine being this sad.
27-13, chump. Lucky the rain took the ball out of Stetson’s hands, otherwise, it would be SIX games in a row the Dawgs score 40+ on the Hillbillies from Hillbillyville.
Imagine being you and think you rate to take s–t to me. THAT is what delusion is.
Try beating us and stop whining like a b–ch because you ain’t us.
Champs win trophies… Chumps sit at home flipping burgers during Championship Week. I thought ya’ll had already covered that…
Corch…
The point of the matter is:
You are not a dynasty.
So stop acting like you are.
Look at that, a whiny, crying Hillbilly wants to change the rules of how football works and has worked for a century because he can’t handle the fact the Dawgs with a win tonight, after going to three title games in 6 years and winning 2, would be the very definition of a dynasty.
The Miami Dolphins of the 70’s laugh at how pitiful you are, Hillbilly.
The Packers of the 60’s laugh at how pitiful you are.
When the Dawgs win 3 titles, he’ll just say that winning 3 doesn’t make you a dynasty.
The goalposts ALWAYS move with losers.
Corch…
Look at clemson for an example…
They won 2 nattys in 3 years, and have been consistantly good even great overall.
They went to the national championship 4 times in 5 years.
But they are not a dynasty.
And neither is Georgia.
Not to mention the fact that they won 7 divisional titles out of 8 years.
Did you see that????
South Carolina just scored again
Clemson was very much a dynasty, but keep crying, Hillbilly.
TDOW, couldn’t care less about South Carolina
Corch, Clemson was NEVER a dynasty. You don’t become a dynasty by winning 2 nattys in 3 years and not win one since. You keep continuing to win Championships.
“Dynasty” may be hyperbole, but Aaron’s right – UGA has all the ingredients to carry forward this success for many years to come. Other programs will have a say, but few are positioned for the future as well as Kirby has Georgia.
This is it. “Dynasty” is relative as not many current coaches even can claim a championship:
Saban – 7
Dabo – 2
Kirby – 1 (going for two)
Mack – 1
Jimbo – 1
It’s so sad to see Vol fans post anymore. Their perception of the word “Reality” is twisted to say the least. One good season in maybe 15-16 years and they are now living in a dream land. Heup will not ever take the Vols the the Promised-Land.
?? He’s telling the truth you know.
Still mad that we beat y’all?
