Kenny McIntosh believes Georgia’s team this season handled more adversity than last season, and he pointed to the 4th quarter comeback against Ohio State as an example.

McIntosh, a Georgia running back, said character came out this season, and it was apparent to those watching.

Asked by ESPN’s Molly McGrath about how difficult practice was since the Ohio State game, McIntosh said “Bloody Tuesday” and Wednesday-type practices are always difficult and that’s what helps Georgia get to where it is in the title game.

“Kirby definitely was on us after the game hard,” he said.

About winning back-to-back titles, McIntosh said “preparation” will be the difference.

“The way we prepare,” he said. “The way the coaches put us in hard positions and help us overcome them and get out of them, Just the way these coaches have been putting us and preparing us and having us practice week by week, day by day, to prepare for moments and things we might see and might not see, they might trick us or show us something different. It’s just the way they prepare us at Georgia that I fell in love with, so I’ll say that’s one word for this team.”
