Quay Walker apologizes for making 'another stupid decision' after ejection Sunday night
Quay Wale was ejected from Sunday’s game between the Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Lions after he shoved the opposing team’s athletic trainer. The 20-16 loss marked the second time Walker has been ejected this season, making him the only player in the NFL to be ejected two times this season.
The first time was when he shoved a Buffalo Bills assistant coach on Oct. 30.

The former Georgia linebacker issued an apology Monday morning.
“I want to apologize publicly about what happened Sunday night,” he wrote via Twitter. “I reacted off of my emotions again and take full responsibility of making another stupid decision. Since then I’ve questioned myself on why did I do what I did when the trainer was doing his job!! I was wrong!!”

Packers head coach Matt LeFleur commented on Walker’s actions following the game.
“I’ve got a much higher standard for our players than to do silly things like that,” Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said after the game. “I mean, we’ve had a guy get ejected twice. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that in my career. And we’ve got to be much more mentally tough.”
As long as simply apologizing on social media is so easy and accepted, his behavior wont change. And when it won’t, he’ll simply tweet another stock written apology. Yawn.
Yes, but he be feel so bat. He didn’t mean to. It were his emotion, not him. His mama raise him to be gut boy.
Emotion or not, after what we just saw with the Bills player and knowing how important it is for trainers to be able to get to the player unimpeded, this stupid move by Walker is even more unacceptable. Borderline suspension worthy carrying over to next season.
Gator6, would you please come on here and tell booches94 I was just playing around, trying to have a little fun, teasin’, and stuff. It’s Monday morning, and we have a long way to go before we rest. It doesn’t hurt nuffin’ to throw a little-bitty bit of fun in there. Like in this case, horsing around wit lanquich. Stuff like that. Have a nice day.
Lmao. Why do you need to beg for Gator6 to speak for you and bail you out? Can you not say yourself ‘I was being sarcastic.’?
I don’t know, Booch. I didn’t say that because I said something else, I guess. And, Boochie-Booch, I sure hope you aren’t mad or nothing.
Lol. Eat more raisins kiddo.
These trainers are just doing their jobs. They may be wearing a teams colors, but they only look out for the health, safety, and success of the players under their care. This action seems extra disgusting since last week medical and trainer personnel saved a life on the field.
Action was petty and childish. This is the men’s league and there is no place for it.
Best way for him to learn from his mistakes, that he keeps repeating, are to be fired. Let him pick up with another team and hopefully truly learn from it and improve as a person. Hate to see a Dawg act like a pup, but he needs to grow up.
It doesn’t matter whether he learns from his mistakes. Since he is a grown man and a college graduate, if he cannot control himself in such intellectually (and emotionally) simple situations, it’s likely that nothing can be done to teach him. The thing to do is punish him with larger and larger punitive sanctions until some semblance of inhibitory control emerges or he is out of the league entirely. Whichever comes first.
why doesnt he apologize in person? He is only apologizing because they made him.
Crissy just proofreading your article would have shown you in the first two words that you were writing about someone that did not exist. Either that or you are so pitifully stupid that you actually thought Quay Wale was the player’s name. Personally, I am going with that choice.
