Umm, you do know she’s won two national championships, right? And she doesn’t believe in competition? Just cuz she says things you may disagree with or that make you uncomfortable? Oh, and the opposite of woke is sleep, that rhymes with sheep…
You know, for all the flash with coach Prime, he’s really a thoughtful, bright guy, who seems to get it. Jimbo could learn a thing or two from him.
No Hendon Hooker next year, his stock will never be higher. He should go, as much as I’d love to see him come back.
I’m looking forward to the Orange Bowl vs. Clemson, especially after Dabo’s burger comment.
Thanks Hendon, both for your on-field exploits and for representing the university with class.
To think where UT’s program was 2 years ago, this is truly amazing. C’mon, admit it, the SEC is better when UT is good!
I am so looking forward to this game. As others have said it is games like this that make college football the greatest. That point was driven home yesterday slogging through some wretched NFL games.
You’re right, Mark, but I think for most Vol fans, myself included, there is still that nagging feeling that we can still screw this thing up. The good thing is I don’t think that Carries over to these players or this coaching staff. They seem fearless. Great article, as usual.
I love coach Garner, so glad he’s back in Rocky Top.
Whoa! Let’s pump the brakes here a minute. I love this team and they are building a solid foundation for the future, but it is WAY too soon to start talking playoff or NC. We’ll give Bama our best shot, and see what happens. To quote every coach, ever, “One game at a time!”
Maren Morris would be good. Or someone out of left field, Johnny Knoxville?
Frankly hasn’t been much of a rivalry for a long time. Hope to change that Saturday. BTW, Mr. Nagi is by far my favorite UT writer on this site. Keep up the good work.
I’ve said this before but Rattler reminds of Jarrett Guarantano. Big arm, tons of potential, but…
“Yes, Rattler did have miscues, with a bad interception on a forced ball that he released too late and 3 fumbles, 1 that he lost. He again had his share of overthrows — 3 appeared destined for a score — and he held onto the ball too long on some attempts.” As a Vol fan this gives me flashbacks of jarrett Guarantano.
But there’s only one kind of troll.
The Smokies are moving back to Knoxville to a new downtown stadium soon, so it will be available! Prime real estate, though, and will probably end up being another theme park.
I’m so glad Coach Garner is back on Rocky Top. Great coach and by all accounts a great guy, too.
I can’t put much faith in any poll that has Vandy getting a first place vote.
Thanks. We have to if we ever hope to catch you guys. Congrats on the natty, by the way.
