I've been a Vol fan for 56 years. We can claim bragging rights if we win 14 more in a row. Then we can repay the 11 in a row from the 70s-80s. I enjoyed winning the Bama game as much as any Vol fan, but there's a long way to go to claim bragging rights.

For most of my life (56 yrs) the Kentucky game did not really worry me with a few exceptions. But now it's a game UT fans can't take for granted as a W at the beginning of the season. Stoops did that.

Yesterday proved USC is a good team. USC could have beaten anyone last week and did this week.

Congratulations to the Gamecocks. The way they played last week they would have beaten anyone in college football (not implying UT is the best). And they did it again this week on the road against the most hated rival. I would hate to be matched up against the Cocks in the bowl season. Great job Gamecocks!

I'm not buying choke. That implies UT gave the game away. South Carolina played a perfect game. It's a simple as that, and they deserve all the credit. Sometimes you run across situations like that. I'm not saying UT is UGa by any stretch of the imagination, but the same thing could happen to UGa. In fact, that's what it would take to best the Dogs...a perfect game. Any true UT fan should still be overjoyed about this season regardless of last night. They have far exceeded my expectations.

Cinderella story...about to become Master's champion...OR NOT! Any real UT fan can't complain. This year has been unexpectedly good. Congratulations to USC. That was a great plan perfectly executed. Sometimes nights like this happen. I hope Hooker is okay for his future. He may not play another snap as a Vol. I hope Milton makes the best of the opportunity this year and next.

No matter what happens in the 4th quarter, UT has no chance for the playoff. South Carolina just wants it more.

I understand making the playoff isn't guaranteed. UT has earned its way from unranked and unconsidered as an afterthought to where they are now. I don't really care if they make the playoff. As a fan, I'm darn proud of what they've accomplished. Because you can't acknowledge that isn't their problem. Even if they can't maintain it next year I don't care. I'm having a great time watching this gimmick. I love seeing big plays on offense almost every game (tip of the hat to UGa). It would take multiple seasons of past regimes to equal what they are now doing in one year.

Don't tell me Tennessee hasn't earned anything. Tennessee has DEFINITELY earned their way to number 5 as well as any consideration they may receive for the playoffs. They belong at 5 for losing to UGa, but don't say they didn't earn it.

Josh Dobbs and Juaun Jennings (and the other players) beat UGa that day. I'll bet Butch had nothing to do with it. He probably wanted them to run a draw on that play and then try to lateral their way to the end zone.

No. It's just my opinion. I think Georgia has a better team than LSU having seen UT play both.

Georgia will not lose the SEC Championship Game. Oregon definitely has a better chance to lose again with their remaining schedule.

It's hard to see how Oregon wouldn't be #4 if they win out including the conference title game. It would also be hilarious to see them get trounced again by Georgia in the semifinal.
