Mississippi State wide receiver Lideatrick “Tulu” Griffin has entered the transfer portal as he announced via Twitter on Friday.

“I would like to thank God himself for the position he put me in today,” Griffin said in the tweet. “Also I wanna thank my family for everything they have done for me.”

Griffin was a special teams ace for the Bulldogs, earning national recognition for his efforts in that area after he led the FBS in kickoff return average at 32.26 yards per attempt. He finished out the 2022 season where being a traditional wide receiver is concerned with a carer-high 40 receptions for 502 yards with 4 touchdowns.

It will be interesting to see what Griffin does with a change of scenery after he served not only as a big piece for the Bulldogs but also as a recruiting tool who was frequently active.
