SEC lands 9 players on ESPN's Way-Too-Early 2023 All-America team
ESPN is out with its Way-Too-Early 2023 All-America team, and Georgia leads the way with four selections. And in a sign of the young talent across the country, 6 of these players will be true sophomores in 2023.
Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Caleb Williams is one of the more household names, but Georgia star Brock Bowers leads the Georgia group, and Kool-Aid McKinstry is another well-known name across the SEC from his recruitment.
Quinshon Judkins will look to build off a historic year in the Ole Miss backfield. As ESPN’s Chris Low suggested, “The only player in SEC history to rush for more yards as a freshman was Herschel Walker. The 5-foot-11, 210-pound Judkins led the SEC with 1,567 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns.”
There also might be the next great Georgia defensive lineman in the group in Mykel Williams. The 6-5, 265-pound Williams was a freshman All-America selection and led the Dawgs with 4.5 sacks.
LSU’s Harold Perkins Jr. is another budding star after he led LSU in tackles for loss (13), sacks (7.5), quarterback hurries (14) and forced fumbles (4).
Here are the SEC selections:
RB: Quinshon Judkins, Ole Miss
TE: Brock Bowers, Georgia
DE: Mykel Williams, Georgia
LB/edge: Harold Perkins Jr., LSU
LB: Jamon Dumas-Johnson, Georgia
LB/edge: Dallas Turner, Alabama
CB: Kool-Aid McKinstry, Alabama
S: Malaki Starks, Georgia
P: Kai Kroeger, South Carolina
There are so many UGA players that are on the verge of being All-SEC and All-American if they can stay healthy

We haven’t even seen the tip of the iceberg
Your incessant commenting on this site, paired with your alarming depth of care of the Georgia Bulldogs reminds me of Steve Carell’s character from the 40 Year Old Virgin.
Specifically the montage of how he spends his weekends shown in the first 20 minutes of the film come to mind.
Well, if I am whatever it is you are trying to say I am, coupled with the fact that your chasing me on a 2nd rate sports site
then you are quite the puussyboy
2nd rate?? Don’t you dare give SDS that much credit.
Won’t surprise me by season’s end to see LSU players like Malik Nabers, Will Campbell, Mason Taylor, Mekhi Wingo, Maason Smith, Omar Speights, Harold Perkins, Jayden Daniels, any of Sevyn Banks/JK Johnson/Denver Harris all earn spots on the All-SEC teams and a few of those will probably be on various All-American lists.
