After barely playing to start the season, Nick Chubb breaks Cleveland Browns record
NFL fans are learning what Georgia Bulldog fans have long known: Nick Chubb has an elite combination of speed, strength and vision.
With a 112-rushing yard performance Sunday, the former Georgia running back set a Cleveland Browns rookie record, passing 950 yards on the season. What makes the record-breaking season truly impressive for Chubb is the fact that in Cleveland’s first six games he totaled only 15 games. It was a midseason trade that made Chubb the team’s primary ball-carrier, a move that has paid off.
For his rookie season, Chubb is averaging 5.2 yards per carry. Browns and Dawgs fans would love to see him cross the 1,000-yard mark in Week 17.
