Missouri LB Ty'Ron Hopper announces 2023 plans
Missouri linebacker Ty’Ron Hopper is staying at Missouri another year.
Mizzou football announced on Tuesday that Hopper would be among those “running it back” with the Tigers in 2023. That’s good news for a defensive unit that was among the best in the country in 2022, consistently staying in the top-25 despite not receiving the proper recognition for doing so.

Hopper finished out the 2022 season with 74 total tackles (60 solo), 3 sacks, 2 passes defended and 1 forced fumble. Over his career, he totals 151 combined tackles (98 solo), 6 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and 1 interception.
How he builds upon that in the coming year will be something to watch.
That kid wears black and gold like a pro!
A fearsome tackle Tiger!
We are living in the age of putting the most mature college roster on the field possible. Embrace it and milk it or get beat by it.
Hallelujah!!!
I thought he had exhausted his eligibility, that’s some good news right there.
Probably one of our top 3 important re-commits. Very excited for it and the others that did as well.
I know its not as flashy as a big name transfer, but keeping talent on the roster has got to be the more critical piece in this transfer puzzle
