The game was postponed, with its status currently undetermined, after Hamlin collapsed on the field. Hamlin’s pulse was lost while being attended to on the field and received CPR. A Bills statement said he went into cardiac arrest.
Hamlin initially had a pulse but lost it while being attended to on the field. He received CPR within minutes and his heartbeat was restored. Drs. Knight and Pritts have lauded the work from the medical and athletic training staffs, as well as first responders for their work.

Hamlin’s improvement is welcome news to the football fans everywhere who have been praying for him.
As a tennessee fan this gave me PTSD lmao.
But in all seriousness, I’m very glad that he is now awake.
Prayers truly do work.
No. They do not.
Well dang. Guess it didn’t work for you.
Or, God being far sighted while we are nearsighted, maybe they didn’t work when he thought they should.
That’s right, doc, in His timing. I’m so glad for the good news.
Cool story Scott. I’d say I hope you enjoy Hel1 but since it appears you’re a Georgia fan it looks like you’re already there.
This is great news.
Hallelujah!!
So this trainer just threw down and did old fashioned chest compression cpr on the field and saved his life? That’s a chad move.
