Ja'Marr Chase delivers huge start for Bengals with touchdown catch against Ravens
Ja’Marr Chase had a big start to the Sunday night wild card with 6 catches for 52 yards on 6 targets.
Chase scored a 7-yard touchdown in the middle of the field to give the Bengals a 9-0 lead with 14:56 left in the second quarter. Those catches were more than the 5 plays run by the Ravens by the time he tumbled into the end zone.
It was the first game in Chase’s career that he had 6 catches in the first half.
It was a largely strong start for the Bengals and Joe Burrow. He was 5-for-5 on the opening drive for 36 yards, and later converted a third-and-8 with a 12-yard pass to Chase. Then, after a sack, Burrow converted third-and-10 with a 13-yard pass to Chase.

That was an ugly game. The Bengals were very fortunate to win.
Agreed. Very poor coaching, especially on the last drive by Baltimore.
Baltimore’s clock management was horrendous on the last drive. They must have been watching some old Les Miles film.
I don’t think anyone is studying that.
