ESPN's SP+ predicts final score of Georgia vs. LSU in the SEC Championship Game
ESPN’s Bill Connelly has shared the SP+ projections for college football’s Week 14 championship slate.
The SEC Championship Game features Georgia and LSU, a rematch of the 2019 game that went to LSU. This time, though, undefeated Georgia enters the game as a heavy favorite over a 3-loss Tiger squad looking to bounce back after falling to Texas A&M in the regular-season finale.
When the matchup was set earlier this month, the SEC Championship odds opened with Georgia favored by 15.5 points. That line has only widened in UGA’s favor. Still, Connelly’s SP+ projects a 33-14 win for the Bulldogs, which would cover a spread of 18.5 points.
