Jaden Walley recalls well-known Mike Leach quote in RIP message to his coach
Mike Leach might be gone but he won’t be forgotten anytime soon.
The highly popular Mississippi State coach passed away tragically last month, but he will be long be remembered for the innovations he brought to the game and some incredible quotes on a variety of topics.
One of Leach’s players, Bulldogs wide receiver Jaden Walley, took to Instagram on Wednesday and recounted one of Leach’s more well-known lines.
“I think we can go eat a fish sandwich under a shade tree with our fat little girlfriends now… R.I.P the Pirate,” Walley wrote.

Walley has had a solid career in Starkville.
Through 3 seasons he has caught 136 passes for 1,651 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Walley and the Bulldogs finished their 2022 season at 9-4, including a ReliaQuest Bowl win over Illinois.
