Texas A&M is reportedly losing another player to the transfer portal. DL Adarious Jones has entered the transfer portal, On3 reported on Thursday.

Jones played in just three games in the 2022 season and recorded just one tackle. In 2021, he played in 10 games and recorded 12 total tackles.

The loss of Jones will definitely hurt the Aggies, but the transfer portal has become a theme for Texas A&M as the Aggies have lost over 20 players to the portal.

Jones came into Texas A&M as a 3-star prospect according to 247Sports Composite. The Virginia native was the No. 35 DT in the class of 2019 and the No. 12 player in the state of Virginia.

Texas A&M had a disappointing season to say the least. After starting off the season ranked inside the top 10, the Aggies finished the season 5-7. Head coach Jimbo Fisher will have a handful next season as he tries to replace all that he lost in 2022, and Jones’s departure doesn’t help.
