Ajian had a strong season in 2022. He totaled 31 tackles, 1 sack, 2 forced fumbles and 3 pass deflections for the Wildcats, adding to his career total of 152 tackles, 12 pass deflections, 3 forced fumbles, 1 sack and 4 interceptions. He also scored a touchdown with the Wildcats in 2021, his 5th-year senior season.
Kentucky football had a relatively underwhelming season this year. The Wildcats were projected to battle with Georgia and Tennessee for the SEC East, but instead finished 7-6 with a 21-0 Music City Bowl loss to Iowa. Notably, that was without quarterback Will Levis and star RB Chris Rodriquez in the offense.
Ky has a major uphill battle next year no matter who qb is. They are losing a lot of experience and most areas are not truly being replaced. Transfer portal is good but it also sucks
