Kaiir Elam receives high praise from Tre'Davious White, Sean McDermott
Kaiir Elam was a first-round draft pick of the Buffalo Bills, and based on his play on Sunday in the playoff win over the Miami Dolphins, the former Florida star is living up to his draft status.
His head coach, Sean McDermott, and teammates, like Tre’Davious White, another former SEC star, have noticed, too.
“He’s such a student of the game,” White said. “He really wants it. His desire to be the best is next to none. The success he had today was not a surprise.”
Elam made a game-changing interception, and also a fourth-down pass breakup to help seal the win.
White added that Elam would work on his off days to prepare for his first playoff game.
“I thought he did some really good things, and he tackled throughout the game also,” McDermott said.
Tre White says the success from Kaiir Elam today is no surprise because of the preparation he put in this week. White said Elam came in on his off days to catch passes to make sure he was ready for his first playoff game.
