Arkansas is on the road on Saturday to take on No. 23 Mississippi State.

A big question pertains to the status of quarterback KJ Jefferson as the Razorbacks look to snap a 2-game losing streak. He left in the 4th quarter of their game against Texas A&M and did not return, and was replaced by Cade Fortin.

During an appearance on the SEC Network’s SEC Nation, head coach Sam Pittman revealed that Jefferson was “available” for the game, but wasn’t sure if his signal-caller would play.

“I just don’t what we are going to do with him yet,” Pittman told Ryan McGee.

Jefferson was seen on the field during warmups. If he ultimately doesn’t play or is limited, utilizing both Fortin and Malik Hornsby could be “a real possibility” during the game, per Pittman.

Kickoff from Starkville is at noon ET on the SEC Network.
