Kobe Brown and Mizzou made a statement with their Braggin’ Rights win over Illinois last Thursday. Brown dropped 31 points in the win, earning the Tigers their 11th win on the season.

Brown, a forward playing the 5-spot for the Tigers, has averaged 14.4 points, 5.7 rebounds and nearly 3 assists per game this season for the Tigers and is a veteran presence for the team.

Things don’t get easier for Brown and the Tigers moving forward. Missouri faces off against Kentucky and Arkansas back-to-back to start conference play and will face the Razorbacks once more before battling Alabama before the end of January.

Brown has been one of the best shooters in the conference so far this season. He’s hitting 67% of his shots from 2-point range and 44% from 3 on over 25 attempts. He’s also an excellent defender, with 8 blocks and 15 steals on the season so far.
