Myles Slusher, former Arkansas DB, flips transfer commitment from Louisville to Pac-12 school
Myles Slusher announced his intent to transfer away from the Arkansas program earlier this offseason.
Originally, he had decided to commit to Louisville, but it appears the former Razorback has had a change of heart.
Per Hayes Fawcett, Slusher has flipped his commitment from Louisville to Colorado and will join Deion Sanders’ first Buffaloes team in 2023:
BREAKING: Former Arkansas Safety Myles Slusher tells me he has Committed to Colorado!
The 6’1 196 S from Tulsa, OK will have 2 years of eligibility left.
In his 3 years at Arkansas he totaled 93 tackles, 2.5 sacks, 11 TFL, 2 FF, and 2 INTs.https://t.co/dHIj3pSjtl pic.twitter.com/OrTlHlGd29

Slusher will have 2 years of eligibility remaining for the Buffs. In his Arkansas career, he recorded 93 tackles (11 for a loss), 2.5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and 2 interceptions.
What sort of role he carves out for himself at Colorado remains to be seen, but he figures to be a big part of Coach Prime’s first defense in Boulder.
So Slusher gave the Birds “The Bird”. He treated his commitment to Louisville like so many 17 year olds do, except Slusher is 21. But respect his decision.
They need to eliminate the word “commitment” from college football, as this idea no longer exists. Commitment was for the Era prior to the transfer portal, NIL, and entitlement.
For now on it should be called a non-binding temporary pledge, and I’m being generous, but “commitment” is way too strong a word. I mean, someone might promise me more NIL money after all. The NCAA better get this under control because it has become a s___show!
Colorado’s problem now, from what I’ve heard and read. Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisville and now Colorado. I’d say Arky is better off with this loss.
