Florida got Jack Miller as a transfer quarterback from Ohio State last offseason. Now, it appears Billy Napier and his staff are looking to the B1G again.

After losing starter Anthony Richardson to the 2023 NFL Draft, the Gators are exploring some potential transfer quarterbacks for this coming season.

On Sunday morning, it was reported that Wisconsin transfer QB Graham Mertz was taking a visit to Gainesville:

Mertz has plenty of experience starting for the Badgers. He’s been the starter for Wisconsin for the past 2 seasons. In 2022, he put up 2,136 passing yards, 19 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He added 2 scores as a runner.

Mertz has also been linked to Kentucky recently, so it seems he has at least a couple of SEC East teams interested in him. We’ll see what the future holds for the multi-year starter for the Badgers!
