Former Arkansas center Frank Ragnow was officially named the the Pro Bowl Wednesday night. The Detroit Lions decided to surprise Ragnow with the news.

Ragnow, the Lions’ 1st round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft and a former 2nd team All-SEC center at Arkansas, was led to believe he was having an extra meeting with the offensive line.

The Pro Bowl is going to look a little bit different this season. Instead of an AFC-NFC matchup, the 2 sides will be taking part in a skills competition, a flag football game and more.

And Ragnow definitely earned his spot. He’s been one of the best centers in the league this season and has helped the Lions jump from 1-6 to 7-7 with a chance at the playoffs as the season draws to a close.
