Wofford shocks Texas A&M, Aggies drop 5th of the season
Wofford danced with LSU earlier this season, losing by 3 points. A week later, the Terriers fell to Vanderbilt in similar fashion, 65-62.
So close, yet so far until Tuesday afternoon when Wofford walked into College Station and upset Texas A&M, 67-62 for its first Power 6 win since beating Georgia last season. Wofford is now 8-5 on the season while Texas A&M falls to a ho-hum 6-5.
This is Texas A&M’s 4th loss of the season outside the Power 6.

This is not the same Texas A&M team that blitzed its way to the SEC Championship game last season. Despite returning most of the talent from that team and adding talented big man Julius Marble, Texas A&M has struggled to start 2022-23 under Buzz Williams.
The Aggies face off against Northwestern State and Prairie View A&M before starting their SEC slate in January.
