Arch Manning already made a classic freshman mistake at Texas

Arch Manning is arguably the most famous student currently on Texas’ campus. However, the incoming 5-star quarterback is still a freshman. That means he’s prone to the rite of passage mistake that many of us made.

Yup, he lost his student ID. The person who retrieved the ID playfully ribbed Manning for his mishap. You can only imagine the jokes he’s getting from his uncles Peyton and Eli.

The 6-foot-4, 215-pound Manning is regarded by the 247Sports Composite as the nation’s top prospect for the Class of 2023. After being recruited by Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Ole Miss and others, Manning committed to Steve Sarkisian’s program on June 23, 2022. He signed with the Longhorns in December as part of the Early Signing Period for 2023.

If Manning likely protects the football better than he did his ID, Texas fans should have plenty of optimism about the Longhorns.

  • Breaking niw! Arch misplaced his car keys!!! Stay tuned to see if arch finds his keys or has to calm a locksmith. These are the days of our longhorns…

  • How's he getting along in Austin? Has he gotten lost driving around town? Is he going to do his own laundry or have someone do it for him? Where is he going to get haircuts? Inquiring minds want to know these things. Smh.

  • Texas, Austin, horrible traffic, a bridge over the river that produces so much fertilizer, it appears to catch on fire every night, duck boat rides now considered the most dangerous ticket anywhere and the home of the idea that one program can own the conference TV network. This is what you sign up for in Austin TX. Having someone latch into your student I is the least of your worries.
