If he coaches under Saban and Saban feels he would be great replacement he will get the job. Saban will be able to pick his successor so why not go over and work under him? Saban should have about 5 more years in him which is enough time for Schumann to learn and take over around 40 which is around the age Kirby was

I know the final score doesn’t show it but this game showed more of the same problems on offense. 2 minutes to go in the first half Bama only had 134 yards of offense, Bryce ended up with 2 INT’s, and our leading receiver wasn’t even a receiver. If things don’t change with this offense things could get rough. The only thing saving Bama from having 3-4 losses is a weak SEC west but Ole Miss and Tennessee may very well be losses.

If we are going to go to super conferences and the SEC is set on market expansion this would touch almost every major tv market in the country and dwarf any other conference including the big 10. It’s not “southeastern” but I think that goes out the window. This keeps a lot of rivalries, brings back some, and creates others(Kentucky v cincy). Some smaller schools but The money made would boost every school joining the conference. 7-6 model with no out of conference games is 13 games playing every team in 4 years. 2 playoff games with winner of each division and championship against Big 10(if we choose).
