Damon Wilson announced his commitment Wednesday afternoon. The elite edge rusher is heading to Georgia.

Wilson is a 5-star recruit, the No. 13 national player, the No. 2 edge and the No. 4 player in Florida, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

A Venice, Florida, native, Wilson held offers from Alabama, Ohio State, Arizona and Auburn but ultimately went with the Bulldogs.

Wilson adds to an already stacked Georgia recruiting class. The Bulldogs boast the No. 2 recruiting class in the nation, just behind Alabama. He adds to a Georgia defense that is already loaded and dominant, so Bulldogs fans can look forward to another season of dominant defense.

Georgia is set to compete for its second consecutive national title, starting with its first round game against Ohio State on Dec. 31.
