Come on Adam. Yes Mizzou had a good win against ISU, but they're still 4-4 in the league. I guess if they beat LSU you're going to have them at #1 next week.
Not yet. He graduates in May and is expected to transfer then.
Auburn doesn't really have that problem. Gus and Harsin's buyouts combined were less than the average in the league today and had no affect on the last coach search.
I don’t think so. Mullen is kind of like Muschamp, in that they both have a difficult time swallowing their pride to become a coordinator again. I don’t think Muschamp could work for any HC other than his friend Smart. Would Mullen take an a $ $ chewing on the sideline if a play goes horribly wrong? I can’t see it.
No Momma G's or Dreamland BBQ? I would almost consider Mellow Mushroom, though technically started near GT. They're a staple at most SEC towns.
I know the bar is low for SDS writers, but couldn't you at least know who the athletic directors are? Keith Carter is the AD at Ole Miss.
If you are 3 deep at every position with blue chips and still hit the portal looking for starters, the problem isn't the players.
That was my first thought. They're worried he could bolt if OU gets tired of Venables next year.
It seemed like Saban was cashing in a lot chips to try and get him a job.
I would also, just due to SOS so far. Going to be an interesting second half to the schedule.
Only way to fix it is to blow the whole thing up. No more scholarships, bring back intramural squads.
The problem with today's kids is that they are terrible with math. Somebody shouldn't have included the zeros on the right side of the decimal. He got all confused.
I wonder if Prime is having to dish out of his own pocket yet? I haven't heard if Colorado ever came up with the dough for his contract, much less an NIL fund.
My only problem with him is that he recruits players to him, not the school. I wanted him at Auburn, but not after what he did to Jackson. If he has any success, he'll burn Colorado in a couple of years as well.
I believe True Blood was filmed in Baton Rouge. The first few seasons were pretty good. I think UK has been more disappointing than Arkansas. Arkansas looked thin on paper and injuries have really exposed that. Tshiebwe carries Kentucky. Without him, the Cats would be lucky to win 2 SEC games.
That's exactly what I meant. It's a lot tougher to show up in the summer and win the job.
I hope Freeze is happy with what he has, it's too late to find anyone else for the spring. Someone might be able to come in the summer and win the job, but not likely.
I said it's a weak class, and I stand by that. What that means to you is your problem. Stroud was an outstanding college QB. But like so many OSU QBs over the past decade, you don't know if it's the system or player. Too many busts.
Young, yes. Stroud, maybe. After them? Overall, it's a weak class. The fact that Levis is at the top of someone's board should tell you a lot.
It is a weak QB class, but no way should he be a first rounder. Somebody will grab him though. Too many teams with bad QBs or no quality backups.
Same here. Guard play has been awful, but getting better. I still think they need Traore and Westry to contribute more to make any kind of noise in March.
So, UNC didn't mess things up. He let a single player hurt his feelings.
It sure will suck having to pay taxes on all those worthless benefits they receive every year. Who knew the short end of the stick was worth north of $100K every year?
Completely agree. It's funny watching people like Hayes complain about the very situation they created. "These guys have been on the short end of the deal for 150 years." Pure B. S. These guys have been given the opportunity of a lifetime to better themselves and their families by making college attainable.
I don't think Auburn should be that high. They are having to scratch and claw their way to every W and the beef of the schedule is on the backend.
