Missouri reportedly loses RB to NCAA transfer portal
Missouri has had a strong rushing attack in recent years, and Elijah Young has been a backup in the Tigers’ backfield.
But, ahead of the 2023 season, the Tennessee native is going to explore his transfer options, it seems.
Per Matt Zenitz of On3 Sports, Young has entered his name in the NCAA transfer portal following the 2022 Mizzou campaign:

In 3 years at Mizzou, Young played in 22 games, recording 66 carries for 333 yards and 1 touchdown. He added 19 catches for 103 yards and a score.
Where he ends up next remains to be seen, but the former 3-star recruit will likely draw some interest from teams in the portal.
Well, we were on a roll with guys announcing they’re coming back for another year. I liked Young but it was clear he just couldn’t get much traction to solidify a spot with Drink bringing in guys like Peat and Schrader. Tavorus Jones was probably next in line to make it hard for Young to get snaps. I wish him luck, he’s super shifty and good enough to play D1 at the right situation (or the right freaking OC!).
It’s the blocking not the backs. And it got worse all season long
Can’t blame him. After all, Mr. NAIA ‘Rudy’ Cook and D II Truman State (NEMSU) transfer have been devastating on SEC defenses all season.
Troll somewhere else.
