Don’t think for a second Kirby Smart, Stetson Bennett and the Georgia Bulldogs are overlooking Florida as the most important game of the year against No. 3 Tennessee inches closer.

No, the Cocktail Party presents enough of a challenge for the Bulldogs who have struggled with far worse competition this year. Georgia is by far the better team here, but this is college football, after all. Anything can happen.

Bennett knows that. He spoke Monday on how his team is preparing for the Gators in Jacksonville this weekend.

“You can throw records or whatever you want to out the window more so than probably any other game on our schedule when we go down there and play Florida,” Bennett said, via DawgNation. “I think Coach Napier has built a good program. I loved him whenever he was at Louisiana. They’re always going to be a force to be reckoned with down there.”

Bennett started the season very strong before cooling out around late September. The Georgia offense, though not as stout as its defense, is still very capable of playing with anyone in the country.

The Cocktail Party rivalry game is set for 3:30 EST in Jacksonville, Florida.
