Peyton Woodyard, elite 2024 safety, announces SEC commitment
Peyton Woodyard is taking his talents to Athens. The elite 2024 defensive back announced his commitment to Georgia during Saturday’s All-American Bowl, an all-star game recognizing some of the top prospects in the 2023 recruiting class.
In November, Woodyard named Georgia, Florida, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon and USC as his top 7 teams. Saturday, he also included a Texas hat on the table when announcing his commitment to Georgia live on NBC.

Out of St. John Bosco in Bellflower California, Woodyard is currently listed at 6-2, 188 pounds. On the 247Sports composite rankings, Woodyard is rated 4-stars, the No. 2 California product and No. 2 safety in the 2024 recruiting class.
Woodyard has picked up scholarship offers from 32 schools already during his recruitment.
In November, Woodyard tweeted about visiting Georgia.
