The Class of 2023 for the College Football Hall of Fame will be laden with legends.

The NFF announced the 22 inductees, a list that includes quarterback Tim Tebow, coach Mark Richt, defensive back Eric Berry, wide receiver/kickoff returner Jeremy Maclin, and former SEC commissioner/Vanderbilt athletics director Roy Kramer.

Tebow guided Florida to 2 national titles (2007, 2009) and was the first underclassman to capture the Heisman Trophy. The dual-threat Tebow departed Florida as the SEC record holder in career passing efficiency and rushing touchdowns.

As Georgia’s coach from 2001-15, Richt won the SEC championship twice (2002, 2005) and the SEC East 5 times (2002, 2003, 2005, 2011, 2012). Richt was named SEC Coach of the Year in 2002 and 2005. As the coach for his alma mater Miami, Richt guided the Hurricanes to the ACC Coastal crown and was the Walter Camp Coach of the Year in 2017.

Berry was an unanimous All-American in 2008 and 2009 for Tennessee. Berry was also the SEC Defensive Player of the Year in 2008, the Jim Thorpe Award recipient in 2009, and a back-to-back winner of the Jack Tatum Trophy (2008, 2009).

Maclin was a back-to-back consensus All-American at Missouri in 2007-08. Maclin was also the Big 12 Co-Offensive Freshman of the Year in 2007. That season, Maclin set an NCAA record for most all-purpose yards by a freshman.

Kramer served as the SEC’s 6th commissioner, holding the role from 1990-2002. Under Kramer’s leadership, the SEC added Arkansas and South Carolina, divisions, and the first conference title game in then-Division I-A.
