Tennessee reaches into Georgia to land commitment from Peach State lineman
Tennessee picked up a big commitment from offensive lineman Amari McNeill on Monday afternoon.
McNeill is a 3-star offensive line prospect from Suwanee, Georgia. He made the announcement on Twitter:
McNeill is the No. 103 offensive tackle prospect in the country for the class of 2021, according to 247Sports composite rankings. The same service has him rated as the No. 1,172 overall player nationally.
He’s currently listed at 6-foot-4, 280 pounds. McNeill has also has offers from Memphis, Minnesota, Coastal Carolina and Washington State, amongst others, per 247Sports.
Tennessee now has 25 commitments for the class of 2021. The Vols are ranked No. 14 nationally and No. 5 in the SEC according to 247Sports.
The first National Signing Day period for the class of 2021 begins on Dec. 16
