Rick Barnes and the Tennessee Volunteers took a trip to Tucson for a late-night game against a tough Arizona Wildcats squad on Saturday night.

Though the Vols played well and played their trademark stifling defense, they couldn’t get enough shots to fall in the 75-70 loss.

After the game, Barnes called out Tennessee big man Uros Plavsic, who picked up a technical foul in the first few minutes of the game after making a pair of early shots (via KnoxNews.com):

“I’m not happy with Uros,” Barnes said. “I’m not happy with his antics. Honestly, I’m really tired of it because I think it hurts our team. We want him to be hard nosed, physical but we don’t need the antics.

“He’s got to be more mature than that. He gets a technical foul and people look at him and they see it.”

Plavsic finished the game with 6 points and 6 rebounds in 19 minutes of action. We’ll see how long he remains in Barnes’ doghouse, but only 19 minutes for the big man isn’t a good sign moving forward.
